Ammonoosuc Inn a picturesque New England Country Inn and Restaurant in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The Inn features nine individually decorated guest rooms and Whirlpool Suites, all with private bath, many with fireplaces, offering our guests a choice of Décor ranging from Traditional Country Rooms, Classical Rooms or Southwest Rooms.  

A Culinary Experience from owner Chef Melanie, a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and the Pastry Arts Center, relocated her long established NY Bistro to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With her 25 years experience,  guests can enjoy New American Cuisine in an intimate candlelit jazz filled atmosphere in Melanie's Bistro with some of the most scenic views in New Hampshire, truly fine dining redefined, or enjoy a more casual dining atmosphere in the Ammonoosuc Pub

The Country Club is an historic golf course surrounding the Inn. The golf course was constructed in 1928 by renowned golf architect, Ralph Barton. Characteristic of this era, you will experience undulating greens, scenic elevated tees and tricky approach shots. Our nine hole golf format provides an alternative set of tees for a different experience the second time around. Comprehensive Golf Packages are available. Full retail/rental store and private/group lessons are also available at the clubhouse.

Our Location is secluded within 80 acres in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire,  just minutes north of the famed Franconia Notch State Park, and everything the Notch is known for – Cannon Mountain, glacial basin, aerial tram, Flume Gorge, Lonesome Lake, Echo lake, waterfalls, covered bridges, fishing, hiking, downhill skiing, XC skiing, snow shoeing, snow mobiling and much more. We are also within a short ride to the cog railway, Mt. Washington, Crawford Notch, Pinkham Notch. Enjoy the spectacular vibrant Colors of Fall Foliage, or just sit back and relax on our 150 foot New England porch and enjoy the spectacular views from the Inn.

The Inn sits majestically high on its perch  overlooking the breathtaking views of the Ammonoosuc River, Mountains and the adjacent  Country Club. The towns of Franconia, Sugar Hill, Littleton and Bath surround it. We are only minutes from Franconia Notch State Park and the Vermont Border.
